Stylish Laundry Storage

This piece is relatively expensive for a laundry hamper, but I think since it provides additional miscellaneous storage and looks so attractive as a stand-alone furniture item itself makes the price somewhat worth it. I really like these cabinet-style hamper solutions with tilt-out laundry storage.
Here is a slightly simpler hamper that is equally chic with a faux-leather feel. It seems quite roomy, though the reviews do seem to indicate that it might be a bit low to the ground at a 23″ height.
Stanford Hamper – Mahogany Vinyl Hamper
This hamper has a sort of beachy feel with its basketweave construction. I think the faux leather trim is a nice accent and gives it a sort of polished look in contrast to the natural materials that compose most of the hamper.
Collapsible Hamper with Lid – Havana Mat by Neatnix
Here is a pretty innovative hamper solution for those tight spaces with maybe only a corner to spare. I don’t suppose it would hold a ton of laundry, but I’m sure it could possibly hold half of or a whole load at least.

I like the look of these laundry hampers as I think even storage items can and probably should be decently attractive too. For versatility, they come in three different sizes in multiple colors. Some of the colors are not quite my taste, but I do like the look of the black and natural choices.

Enhancing Closet Storage

I’m sure most people could benefit from added closet storage space, but might not necessarily have the room nor financial capablity to create additional capacity. I like these affordable solutions that might yield more room by utilizing typical, wasted space in most closets.
This divider won’t really create extra space, but would certainly tidy up clothes stacks.
Here is definitely an example of efficient use of every inch of closet space. One of the reviewers of this product noted that this storage unit was even sturdy enough to hang jeans from.

Here are some basic, single-unit hampers offering decent storage – though you wouldn’t want too much anyway as it would encourage the laundry to pile up.
This is a pretty basic hamper made by Rubbermaid which is probably sturdy and gets the job done. Though it does come in a neutral color, I would’ve liked some other color choices. I don’t think I would display this freely if I was going for a polished decor, however. I like that it is collapsible for easy storage as it is a rather large piece.

Here is another basic, slightly more decorative wicker hamper made by Whitney Design. This one has a lid, although reviewers seem to have noted that it doesn’t always close fully for whatever design reason. This is another one of those collapsible hampers.

Here is a rounded, canvas hamper that seems easy to transport around for laundry days while concealing laundry with its zippered top. It seems to include a wire frame so it will maintain its upright shape. This one seems to come in 2 color choices – white/black, with the black version constructed of mesh.

These woven hampers are slightly smaller than some of the previous items and can be wiped to clean. The built-in handles would also allow it to be moved for laundry day.

I’m not a really fan of these triple compartment sorters as I don’t really have the room for them, but I think they would be really handy to organize piling laundry.
This 3-sorter is pricier than the single-sorts, but it looks like a sturdy piece with wire frame supports below and set on wheels for easy moving throughout the house.

Here is a woven seagrass option for those wanting a little more decorative look to their laundry sorting. This sorter doesn’t seem to have wheels, but it does have removable liners/bags.

I liked this all-in-one unit as it has a small hamper below as well as additional shelving for lots of storage above.
