Ceiling fans are a must in warm weather climate as they can not only provide lighting but cut down a bit on cooling bills in those sweltering temperatures. I noticed that they don’t seem too popular in design schemes, but I think choosing the right fixture can offer both form and function.
Here are some atypical ceiling fans that do just that.
This fixture may look like any other, but it does have some interesting glass light shades in a warm amber and features the bronze metal in the base which can be a finish uncommon in ceiling fans.
Hunter 54-inch Midtown Bronze Ceiling Fan
This Asian-inspired fan is great find in the quest for unique home furnishings. I was surprised to find that it has a 3-light feature that doesn’t seem so apparent from the product image.
Kioki 3-light Satin Nickel 4-blade Ceiling Fan
This fan is great for those who like the general look of the Kioki fan but don’t necessarily want the Asian theme, or favor a lighter feel.

Maverick Chrome 3-light 5-blade Ceiling Fan
For a more ornate look which can be tough to find in ceiling fan fixtures, this fan is a lovely choice with intricate metal leaves adorning the base. I also like the faux leather texturing on the base as well.
